Established in 1994 originally as PhysicianPracticeNetwork as an information service for in-house recruiters and physicians, PracticeLink is one of the oldest, largest and most respected physician employment opportunity websites. Within the first few months it became apparent that the Internet would be revolutionizing the recruitment process. PracticeLink.com was launched in 1995 as one of the first of four major medical employment web sites. The first PracticeLink Internet-based placement took place months later when a practicing critical care physician from New York state took a new opportunity with St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first commercially documented Internet-based physician placement in the history of the Web.

As a physician recruiter website, PracticeLink is used by more than 18,000 practice seeking physicians annually to quickly and confidentially search and locate a potential physician placement opportunity in their area. PracticeLink is a free recruiting service for any practice seeking physician as well as other medical professionals, not a recruitment search firm. PracticeLink is financially supported by more than 700 hospitals, medical groups, private practices and healthcare systems that advertise more than 5,000 physician job opening opportunities. More than half of all of the nation's in-house physician job recruiter agencies now use PracticeLink for recruiting job placement opportunities.

PracticeLink is one of the Internet's most popular and well known medical employment web sites. PracticeLink welcomes more than 40,000 user sessions every month. More than half of all of the nation's in-house physician recruiters now use PracticeLink to source more than 18,000 physicians that will voluntarily register with our service this year.

PracticeLink, Ltd (dba PracticeLink/PracticeLink.com) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Allman & Company. Allman & Company is a privately held web development and publishing company.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS

PracticeLink has partnership agreements with the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters, the Oklahoma Physician Recruiters Association, the Illinois Physician Recruiters Association, and the Carolina Association of Physician Services. In addition, PracticeLink functions as an application service provider (ASP) in that its medical job content is distributed in co-branded format to a number of other medical web sites.
